2009 Junior Camp
Woodman Point Recreation Camp was once again the location of the 2009 Junior Camp. The picturesque backdrop of the Indian Ocean coupled with a vast array of activities promised to live up to the hype of what is one of the highlights of the year for our Junior members. This year for the first time our under 12 members were invited down for a days activities and it gave them an opportunity to experience what camp life is like under the mentorship of some of the older Juniors, giving them something to look forward to as they grow up within the Wheelchair Sports family, while allowing the parents to see some of the many opportunities that Wheelchair Sports WA can offer their children.
The Disabled Children's Foundation has funded the purchase of 3 stationary excercise bikes to assist in the Kensington Street School students' stamina and endurance. The flexability of the bikes, and the ease of operation, have made them highly suitable for all ability levels.
