REFUND POLICY

The Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc donation refund policy highlights the value our organisation places the financial contributions our donors make to us. We recognise the importance of donations and have established principles of transparency and fairness in regard to the management of refunds.

Due to Racing, Gaming and Liquor legalities, constraints and time frames the purchase of Raffle Lucky Numbers will not be refunded without the written approval of Gaming and Wagering Commission.

This policy outlines the circumstances under which Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc will refund a donation.

Policy
Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc expects that donors give thought when selecting the donation amount and check donation amounts during transactions. Once a donation has been made to our organisation we do not give refunds if you change your mind.

Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc recognises that it is possible to make an error when making online donations or that the donor may change their mind about the donation made, or an that an error can be made by Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc or our Financial Institution.

This policy states that Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc will endeavour to refund donations in accordance with the following principles:

Principles
If an error is made during an online donation transaction, we will consider all refund requests that are made in writing within 30 days of the date the donation was made. The written refund request must include the details of the initial transaction including date, donation amount, donor’s name, donation receipt (if applicable) and the nature of the error.

Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc will consider all requests for refund and will aim to ensure that genuine errors are corrected, however, Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc is under no obligation to honour refunds and the decision on refunds will be at Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc discretion.

If an amount is adjusted by Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc, the original receipt issued for the incorrect amount will become invalid, and if necessary a new receipt will be issued for the adjusted donation amount.

Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc reserves the right to pass any refund transaction charged onto the donor.

Refunds will be returned using the original method of payment – if donation has been made by credit card, the refund must be credited to that same credit card

Should an error be made by Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc or our financial institution(s), a refund of the full amount will be made once we are notified of the error in writing.

All Disabled Children’s Foundation Inc transactions are in AUD $ currency.
